Microsoft is ending support for Dynamics Great Plains to focus on cloud solutions and technologies. Customers have five years to plan and migrate to a new platform.
Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) will reach the end of its life on April 30, 2031, when security updates will no longer be available. Here are some other key dates related to the end of life for Dynamics GP:
- April 1, 2025: Microsoft will stop selling new perpetual licenses to new customers
- April 1, 2026: Microsoft will stop selling both perpetual and subscription licenses to new customers
- September 30, 2029: Microsoft will stop providing product enhancements, regulatory updates, service packs, and technical support.
